Every patient file has its own story to tell and the illnesses take different courses and present those affected with a challenge. Dealing with patients should always have the principle of the bio-psycho-social concept in the background and take into account all factors of diversity and variety. The event should reflect an exchange on the current TB situation in Germany and Europe and deal with the typical conformities of the diseases such as update of diagnostics, side effects of therapy, isolation and stigmatization, psychological and social burdens of those affected.
