In addition to early diagnosis and effective treatment, the isolation of infectious patients and adequate hygiene measures are crucial to achieving the goal of infection prevention. The updated recommendations replace the previous recommendations "Infection Prevention in Tuberculosis" from 2012. They take into account the current national and international recommendations and new scientific findings.
